UAV DACH – unmanned aviation association and TU Munich have established a new SORA Focus Group, to analyze and solve member challenges regarding the SORA authorization process for Specific-Category UAS operations. This Focus Group plans to organize workshops, collect information, and advocate on behalf of the UAV DACH members — discussing challenges and questions with aviation authorities & SORA architects as they develop the next version of the process.
As a first initiative, the group has launched a SORA survey to gain a better understanding of UAS operations and experiences with the SORA process. The results of the SORA Focus Group will be presented at the EUROPEAN DRONE FORUM.
Upcoming Event: SORA User's Workshop #1
The results of the survey will be evaluated by experts. To discuss the results, the focus group will hold a first workshop on July 6 in Garching (Munich). As a participant of the survey, you are cordially invited to attend free of charge.
