The drone industry is experiencing rapid growth, with the global market expected to surpass 55 billion US dollars by 2030, fueled by advancements in logistics, surveillance, agriculture, and urban air mobility. As demand surges, a significant challenge emerges: the need for skilled professionals to design, operate, and manage drone technology.

However, talent is everywhere, and the key to unlocking the full potential of the drone sector lies in broadening access, fostering diversity, and making careers in the drone economy more attractive to professionals from various backgrounds. Therefore, we need strategies to make drone careers appealing to engineers, business, marketing, and tech professionals from other sectors. The UAS industry has to shape education, certifications, and industry partnerships to build a qualified gworkforce.
