In 80 days, the drone economy will meet at the EUROPEAN DRONE FORUM #EDF22 in Cologne, Germany. Representatives of the European Commission, the European Aviation Safety Agency EASA and many national aviation authorities will come together with participants from associations and authorities as well as manufacturers and operators of unmanned aerial vehicles. To ensure safe and efficient drone use in the future and pave the way for professional UAS use on a large scale, presentations and discussions will highlight previous regulations and procedures and discuss future concepts. The conference, which will last 1.5 days for the first time this year, is the optimal opportunity for a personal and intensive exchange between all stakeholders. Expect presentations on top current topics, many field reports as well as research results from studies on SORA, U-space, and information on the latest EASA NPA. Participation is open to authorities, manufacturers or operators from all areas of the drone economy, from small photo drones to large flying cabs.
