There is good news to report about the EUROPEAN DRONE FORUM (EDF2021). A dozen Aviation Authorities have responded to the call of the EUROPEAN AVIATION SAFETY AUTHORITY (EASA) and will travel to Cologne for the first face-to-face meeting in 2021 at the international conference on November 15th. As of today participants of the EUROPEAN DRONE FORUM will meet representatives of EASA and the national aviation authorities from
- France

- Croatia
- Greece
- Netherlands
- Switzerland
- Luxemburg
The Federal Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure (BMVI) of Germany and the Federal Office of Civil Aviation (LBA) as well as some state aviation authorities and the Federal Environment Agency will also be present. This is already a great success for the event and probably the only opportunity for the industry to meet with this group in a public event this year.
Exhibition
The exhibition space will offer the opportunity to present products and services to the conference participants and to establish personal contact. The one-day event will provide more than presentations.
Sponsors
The EUROPEAN DRONE FORUM is proud to announce that the legal advisor Osborne Clarke and drone manufacturer AIRIAL ROBOTICS support the event.
Tickets
For the EUROPEAN DRONE FORUM there are tickets available in the online shop only. Tickets can be paid for online via credit card, SOFORT payment and EC card. For those who cannot travel to Germany, online participation is available. On-site tickets can be converted into online tickets when the situation changes and avoids personal participation. Program
The program of EDF2021 has been extended and the speakers are largely fixed. In addition to current topics on the UAS Special Category and allocation Light unmanned certificates (LUC), EASA will present on the topic of safety. From the industry, you will hear details about applications with and new sensors for unmanned aerial vehicles.
Partnership European Rotors Exhibition
The day after the EUROPEAN DRONE FORUM, European Rotors will take place at the same venue. In addition to manned helicopters, unmanned systems will be exhibited there too, and corresponding topics will be covered in the conferences. The UAV DACH has a stand together with some members. If you are attending EDF2021, you should consider extending your stay by one day and attend this event. Find out more at https://www.visit.europeanrotors.eu/en
Don’t miss the EUROPEAN DRONE FORUM either as a sponsor, exhibitor, or participant on 15 November in Cologne.
Two weeks before the start of the EUORPEAN DRONE FORUM, the list of aviation authorities has expanded again. More than 30 representatives are expected. Additional representatives from Iceland, Malta and Poland have registered. This will be the only opportunity this year for industry and UAS operators to meet and network with so many authorities.
